The
CONNECTED RIDER Community
led by Meredith Brisson, LICSW
and Sarah Carlan, MSW
A unique opportunity to join a community of committed dressage and eventing riders who are ready to show up as their best selves in competition and to create a network of support and camaraderie with fellow riders.
DEADLINE TO SIGN UP: Wednesday, July 5
What's this all about?
Become the grounded and resilient competitor you've always wanted to be!
Being a strong competitor requires a connection to yourself, to your horse and to the present moment. The Connected Rider Community will help you reach these goals by strengthening your mindset and building your mindfulness tools. You also get the added bonus of receiving the collective energy of community to keep you motivated and on track. Come together with fellow eventers and dressage riders in a non-judgmental and supportive atmosphere that is all about supporting each other through the process of finding deeper connection and satisfaction in your competitive journey.
In a sport where the model for competition is judgment – let's create a space for yourself that is constructive and non-judgmental.
Why community?
Building connection with others
Because riding is about you and your horse, it is easy to forget about the vast benefits of having community. Having a group of fellow riders to support you, to help you keep it all “in check” and to help normalize the ups and downs of the sport, is the glue that holds it all together.
But not just any group of riders. A group of riders who are invested in being their best selves in and out of the saddle. Riders who embrace the messiness…in themselves and in others. Women who allow others to succeed, even when they are in a place of struggle. Women who can share their fears and hang-ups, because they know that everyone has them. Women who want to dig deep and learn strategies to balance the intellectual, physical, emotional, and mental side of the sport.
You can be competitive and a supportive competitor. We'll show you how!
What will it feel like to know that you have a group of fellow competitors that HAVE YOUR BACK?
What results can I expect?
Feel more intentional in your plan for progress. For some this might mean pushing a little harder or persevering through tough emotions. For others this might mean letting your foot off the gas and learning to trust your instinct and your feel. You have it all in you, we just have to ask the right questions!
You will find yourself feeling COURAGEOUS – connecting your head with your heart and embracing challenge.
What's important to you will be clear. Your mindset will be working in your favor. Your riding will soar.
